Sometimes I wish I could find a reason to both justify the need for and expense of an antique carousel zebra... I'd snap this up in a heartbeat if it weren't $750... Maybe they'd be willing to shave off a zero!? Even then, I'd have to talk Nick into it...
In case you're interested, here it is.
Hope you have a great weekend! It's sunny in Joplin and as soon as Nick gets off work, we are heading over to our new, old house for a weekend of projects. Woohoo!
Hi Stephanie!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your sweet comments on my home tour with Life Made Lovely!
I just read through your blog post and WOW your new home is gorgeous! I will be blog stalking you on the progress... ;-) And after further review, I'm pretty sure I own an American Foursquare home. That first plan (modern 52) is almost identical to our home. How fun!
To answer your question... I do LOVE our dining room rug. It has held up well. We eat over it every single night. And this is where the kids play and all crafts happen too. I do worry about the white part of the chevron... but Henry dropped play duh on it the other day, and it successfully came out. I ordered it from Overstock.com It wasn't majorly expensive... so I don't fret too much about it.
I hope this helps. ;-) Have a great weekend and best of luck with your new home!
Nicky
