I've always loved photobooths and am constantly in search of the vintage ones that will print black and white pictures. Did you know they cost upwards of $1000 to rent? Can't afford that? I've come across some sweet ideas for making your own, some are as easy as a cool backdrop and a big frame. They are perfect for weddings and summer parties. Be sure to have a basket of props on hand, such as hats, funny glasses, moustaches, ties, etc.

Finally, if you are in the Northwest, I recommend you check out Portland Photobooth, where Portland, OR-based photographer Soren Coughlin-Glaser runs a mobile photobooth out of his bright orange VW-EV bus. How sweet is that?

love this! We did a polaroid camera table at the wedding, but now I wish we would have had a backdrop and frames!

ReplyDeleteHey! I love those old booths! My daughter and I have made a commitment to get in a photo booth anytime we run across one. I am going to love looking though our age progression one of these days! Although, I had to put the kibosh on the Mall photo booth, since we saw it ALL the time. Lately that has been the ONLY one we've seen! I am going to have to scout some more in our new area. Thanks for the reminder.
